I am a retired special educator with extensive experience with kindergarten to 6th grade. I create lessons for my students on an individual basis determined by their needs. I use valid, researched material and strategies to assure that learning occurs and create lessons that are interesting. I have been teaching children with autism for the past 20 + years, and pride myself in my patience and out of the box thinking. I love helping children learn, and enjoy watching them acquire skills. I have clearances and references. I have a masters degree in special ed and was a member of a doctoral program at Arcadia. I enjoy spending time with my husband and extended family especially my two grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
