Hello, I want to start off by saying the elderly community is something I am very passionate about. My journey to long term care started when I was in high school. I volunteered at Thornapple Manor on Saturdays for bingo, and I realized then that thats where my heart wanted to be. I worked at Thornapple Manor for 10 years. I decided to make the switch to in home care for a more one on one experience. I have been doing in home care for the past 3 years. I am enjoying the more one on one experience with patients to truly get to know them, learn what they need, and to help them be able to stay at home for as long and independently possible. The other main reason is my kiddos - Im looking for something more flexible to work around their school schedules.
