Hi! I'm Jay, a specialized caregiver based in Flower Mound. I've spent the past few years supporting autistic children, and I've been RBT-certified since 2022. My focus is providing reliable, neurodiversity-affirming care for children of all backgrounds. A little about me: My legal name is Sydney (I prefer to go by Jay). I graduated from UT Austin in 2022. I'm now in grad school completing my Master's in Counseling. I offer specialized childcare for date nights, as-needed support, and weekly care. Current availability: Once the semester resumes (January 13th), my regular hours are: • Mondays: 6AM-9 a.m. • Tuesdays: 6AM-11 a.m. & 5PM-12 a.m. • Wednesdays: 6AM-2 p.m. • Thursdays & Fridays: fully available • Saturdays: 5PM-12 a.m. or later I bring 9 years of childcare experience and 4 years of experience supporting autistic kiddos, including nonspeaking children, AAC users, and higher support needs. Sydney was great. She welcomed us politely and courteous, and immediately said hello to our daughter warmly, and quickly assessed the child care situation , and asked any questions about our daughter and our home to ensure she could do her best job! We were able to spend a date night out with complete peace of mind that our little one was taken care of. Now we just need the social life to permit for more time to hire Sydney again!
