About Sydney

I'm an energetic, silly, and kind childcare provider with a passion for art education. I recently graduated from Barnard College with my Bachelor's in Anthropology, and I'm planning on pursuing my elementary teaching certification. From being a camp counselor in my teen years, to being a nanny in college, and now a full time preschool teacher, I have 6+ years of experience in childcare. I currently teach children ages 2-4 at Little Thinkers Montessori in Park Slope. I've always loved working with kids. I like getting to talk with them and I believe the way they see and interact with the world can actually teach us adults a lot :) My experience also includes: - Teaching arts and science to children ages 5-12 at Curious Jane, a STEAM camp for girls - Assisting in literacy workshops in NYC Public Schools (k-2, 7-8) as an intern for Behind the Book - Nannying and babysitting children ranging from 12 months-7 years old I can provide references as well!
