About Sydney

Hi! My name is Sydney! My passion for fostering children's growth, along with 10+ years of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teaching experience and positive babysitting roles, has shaped my responsive caregiving approach. I am patient, creative, and approachable. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and coursework in Early Child Development. I currently work in the ECE field caring for infants. I am comfortable caring for up to 3 children and have experience with children 0-12yrs. I create and implement lesson plans and daily activities that support social emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. I am First Aid and CPR Trained. I am also a Virginia Certified Early Interventionist and have 19hrs of professional development training for 2025. I follow parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I'm happy to help with cooking and light housekeeping. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your child.
