About Sydney

Hi my name is Sydney! I have an associates of science degree in zoo animal technology, veterinary technician training and I am currently finishing my bachelors degree in ecology and conservation biology. I am qualified to care for not only domestic pets, but animals such as birds, reptiles, mammals and farm animals. I have been trained to provide exceptional animal care and I plan to give your pets the same level of attention. I have a flexible schedule and I will accommodate all of your pets needs. My animal background includes, zookeeping at AZA accredited zoos for 5 years, working as a veterinary technician for 4 years and field research throughout my twenties. I am now working at a farm while also taking classes at Mars Hill. I am comfortable attending to animals of all ages, including geriatric or individuals with special needs. I can assure you that I possess the enthusiastic and empathetic attitude to keep your pets happy and safe while you're away!
