About Takira

Hi! My name is Takira, and I have hands-on experience working with children from as young as 6 weeks old through early childhood, with a strong focus on infants and toddlers (ages 0-3). I've worked in a structured childcare setting as a lead teacher as well as in home care. I'm naturally patient, attentive, and reliable, and I truly enjoy helping children build independence while maintaining consistency and care throughout their day. I prioritize clear communication and a safe, supportive environment at all times. In addition to childcare, I also have experience working with elderly individuals through my role as a Medical Assistant in geriatric primary care. I am compassionate, detail-oriented, and attentive to individual needs across all ages. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, diapering, light housekeeping, pets, and maintaining a structured yet flexible daily flow. I take pride in creating a peaceful, engaging space.
