About Talia

Educator and learner focused on creative problem solving, experiential and cross-disciplinary education, and creative expression. I have experience teaching on boats, in the woods, and on farms, and in the classroom in science, language arts, and interdisciplinary project-based learning - I believe learning is always happening and that all learning is important! I have nearly 10 years experience working with school-age children. I hold a graduate certificate in Environmental Humanities, a bachelor's degree in Writing and American Studies, and am beginning a Master's of Fine Arts Degree in Poetry in Spring 2026. I have three years experience working with graduate-level students in the arts and environmental humanities. I am well equipped to assist with tutoring in science, english, writing/creative writing, and history for elementary through college level students.
