About Talia

Hi! My name is Talia, I just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and moved to Boston, and I'm looking for a part time position as a nanny while I apply to grad school. I've been working with children since I was high school. I was so eager to become a babysitter when I was younger that I even took a "Babysitter Certification" course hosted by Red Cross when I was 12. In my first few childcare jobs, I worked as a babysitter for children with special needs, and then began working at a summer camp where I was promoted in my final year to Unit Director of the youngest age group, the preschoolers. As a freshmen at Penn, I still wanted to work with children, so I began volunteering at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, where I was the Playroom Coordinator, taking care of the children who were staying at the house and their siblings while their families were at the hospital. I am excited to start talking to families and finding the perfect fit :)
