About Tamar

Hi! I'm a mom to a sweet3-year-old boy and hold a degree in Environmental Science. While I'm looking for the next step in my career, I'm excited to spend time doing something I've always loved--caring for animals. Before becoming a mom, I regularly looked after pets not just for extra income, but because I missed having animals of my own. Over the years I've cared for everything from small pets like rabbits, birds, and guinea pigs to larger animals like dogs, cats, horses, and pigs. I also grew up with a variety of pets, so animals have always been part of my life. I've volunteered on farms and have interned at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Families I've worked for have all been return clients of mine. Right now, I want to do pet care on the side because I miss the joy animals bring. With me, your pets will always be cared for with patience and love. I will never take on a job I can't fully commit to, and I always put the well-being of your furry (and feathered!) friends first.
