Hi, My name is Tea! I care for many families in the Seattle/Edmonds area! Currently I am looking for 3-4 days a week 20 -40 hours. Pref infant & toddler care. About Me: I am from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I moved to the Seattle area in 2016, I have over 15 years of caregiver experience including multiple families with twin infants. Prior to teaching I worked as a summer camp coordinator and counselor for 5 years. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Sociology. I currently work part time as an Art Teacher at UW in their affiliated preschools. I am also a student at UCSB working on my masters in Child Life. I volunteer with pediatric hospice via Providence. I am CPR/ First Aid certified and have a squeaky clean background that is cleared with the state of WA . I own a reliable car and am reliable myself. UTD on Covid vaccines. We were so lucky to have Tanea as a nanny to our toddler! We had not very good experience with nannies in the past and Tanea is the only one who could find an approach and earn the trust of our little one. We worked in collaboration for the first week to make sure that nanny-transition would go smoothly, and after that we could leave them 1-1 and he NEVER cried when we needed to leave! It was such a miracle for us! Leaving Tanea with my son I always know that he’s safe, he’s loved, and he has LOTS of fun (they do so many fun things - going outside, making art, playing with toys, reading books, and so much more)! Besides that another important thing is that we as parents also have a very strong connection with her - she’s reliable, always transparent, patient and is always caring about our son. We’re very sad that we have to say Good Bye because our toddler is ready for the daycare now, and we truly can’t thank Tanea enough for being such an important part of our family ❤️
