I love spending time with elderly people. When I graduated from college, my first apartment was next to a retirement home. I volunteered there after work. I started out by assisting in group activities and then was assigned to a specific client who didn't have anyone to visit her. We would do activities together and sometimes just talk. I found that time to be very fulfilling and enjoyable. I am now an empty-nester with free time I had when I first graduated from college. I want to use that time to spend with elderly people. I am BLS certified which includes CPR certification.
