I've been professionally involved in the senior care and assisted living industry for nearly three years, but my experience goes back much further! I grew up helping care for my grandparents, which sparked my passion for supporting older adults. While in college, I worked at Longview as an Adult Day Program Assistant, gaining hands-on experience in group care settings. Since then, I've continued to build on that foundation through roles in home care and assisted living marketing. Currently, I provide personalized home-care services for individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Tara has been a wonderful caregiver to my husband, who has Alzheimer's Disease. She is understanding and educated about the disease and the best ways of communicating with someone who has cognitive impairment. She has worked for me for more than a year. She always goes above and beyond in her efforts to be helpful to both me and to my husband. She is reliable and extremely honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to care for others also.
