About Tarina

I'm going into my junior year at UNCW studying nursing. I started working with kids at 14 as a swim instructor, then at the YMCA child care center, gaining experience with all age groups. I also spent a summer working in a school with neurodivergent kindergartners, which taught me how to support children with a range of needs. These experiences showed me how much I enjoy making a positive impact on kids' lives. While in college, I've continued babysitting and last summer I was a full-time nanny for three children. That experience deepened my passion for childcare and helped me grow even more as a caregiver. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, comfortable with pets, and always aim to be a reliable and positive figure for the kids I work with. I'm currently looking for weekend/evening babysitting where I can continue helping families feel confident that their children are in caring, capable hands

Our family had a wedding in the Wilmington, NC area and we researched babysitters from care.com. Tarina was available so we had her come and meet our 3 boys (!) who are a "handful" to say the least and she had no problems at all. It ended up being a long weekend for us and it was amazing to have Tarina agree to babysit for almost the whole three or four nights. The boys LOVED her and she played games, took them on adventures around the property (Hilton Garden Inn) and fed them lots of healthy, good food and snacks. We alternated some of the boys so she had more individual time with the baby, 3 and 5 year old. I hope we can keep in touch with her because she truly made our wedding/vacation a memorable trip because we didn't have to bring our kids with us to the rehearsal dinner, outings and the wedding! Thank you Tarina !!!!
