I've been caring for seniors for several years. I love what I do because I am a total people person. It makes me feel good to go home and know my job really does make a difference in someone's life. Also I feel it is important to not only care for them , but to make sure you help promote healthy choices like, taking a walk , doing crosswords, art , just making sure that they are as active as much as they're capable of. Some of my duties include medication management, light housekeeping, showering, transportation if needed and much more. I've worked with people that needed different levels of care from just needed assistance to hospice.
