About Tasya

With six years of experience, I am dedicated to unlocking each student's unique potential through personalized support. I focus on building confidence and a love for learning within an engaging and patient environment. I actively listen to students and encourage open communication to understand their learning style. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key to building trust, so I provide regular updates to parents and adapt my approach as needed. Witnessing those "aha!" moments and a student's growing confidence is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a college degree and speak English and French. I also have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I can tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in Math, English, Science, Foreign Language, Art, Music & Drama, and Study Skills.
