About Tatyana

Hello! My name is Tatyana. I am a third year Pre-med student at Howard University. I have years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential and achieve their academic aspirations. With a foundation of some college education and a year of tutoring experience, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's individual learning style, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems to build momentum and keep students motivated. Communication is key to building trust and collaboration with both students and parents. Helping a student achieve better grades and building a supportive rapport that makes learning enjoyable is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me. I look forward to helping you succeed!
