About Teresa

Hello! My name is Teresa, and I am a third-grade teacher with Anne Arundel County Public Schools. I am passionate about working with children! I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings. Before becoming a full-time classroom teacher, I served as a camp counselor, children's swim instructor, nanny, and private tutor. These roles have shaped my understanding of child development and strengthened my ability to build positive, supportive relationships. Having worked in childcare for most of my life, I sincerely appreciate the unique perspectives and kindness that children bring to every interaction. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether helping with after-school routines or planning fun activities. I have my own transportation and am happy to drive children to programs or outings. Some of my favorite activities include nature walks and other experiences tailored to each family's preferences.
