I am a loving experienced mother of a Now grown son who I raised myself. I have held the position of Teacher's Assistant in various day care programs as well as child care positions for newborns, toddlers and preteens. I have driven children to school activities and am happy to help with homework. I am reliable, honest, pay special attention to detail, especially with regard to safety, a non smoker, with own transportation and clean driver's license. I truly enjoy being with children and provide a loving atmosphere, if needed, can be at my own home. I have also worked with special needs children, Down syndrome and "on the spectrum" children and volunteered for Special Olympics~ Music is my specialty and I possess a sense of humor and a high energy - am often told "I have the patience of a saint". Teri worked for us for a year taking care of our 6 year old son, who is on the autism spectrum. My son loved her and I really appreciated her help with errands and cleaning. Teri is reliable, caring and consistent. She also has experience with special needs kids and gets involved in carrying over therapies and learning all she can to help the kids in her care.
