I have had dogs growing up. But the last few years in particular, I've gotten to know cats and birds, and even got my own sweet cat. I've always been an animal lover. One of my first jobs when I was 14 was working at an animal grooming/boarding place in Edgewood, Maryland. I left due to the maltreatment witnessed the dogs/cats have to endure during my daytime grooming hours. My night hours were spent cleaning the kennels and feeding the dogs/cats that were being boarded. I've enjoyed being a home care taker for the elderly/disabled the last few years. However, I need to take a break from doing that part time and really need something I can do on the side to make up my original full time hours. I would love for that to be having fun, taking care of animals, if possible!
