Seeking a full time position beginning April 24th. I have over 15 years experience in caregiving. For 10 years I cared for my brother who was wheelchair bound and partially paralyzed from a motorcycle accident until his passing in 1996. The other folks that I have cared for have suffered from heart disease, diabetes, mobility challenges, cancer, Parkinson disease and dementia. I'm experienced with medical lifting equipment, medication prompting, wound care, and colostomy care, condom catheters, internal medication pump through stomach tube. My goal is to give the best care possible to those in need and to insure they are treated as if there are family. I'm dependable, caring, empathetic, a great cook and love interacting with my clients. We were snowbirds and my husband declined while we were in Florida. I joined care.com to hopefully find someone to help us out until we were able to get home. God sent me Terri. She was amazing. Her attention to detail, her thoughtfulness, her communication, her dedication, her cooking, I cannot say enough about how much she helped us. We have since made it back to Michigan and Terri has ruined it for me. I will never find a caregiver as good as her. If you are looking for someone to take care of your loved one as well as you would, Terri is your person!!
