I'm a retired RN seeking extra income. I can offer you the peace of mind knowing that you're hiring a highly skilled & experienced provider. I'd describe my personality as cheerful, optimistic, & calm. I like caring for people in need because often times, elderly & disabled are treated differently, are ignored, or seen as burdensome. I recognize and acknowledge their individuality & life before they needed assistance. I'm looking for a job where I'm able to apply my knowledge, skills, & experience using best practice standards that align with healing. One thing you should know about me is I'm a hugger, and I am very intuitive and receptive to other's needs. My skills include health assessment, vital sign monnitoring, assistance with all ADL's, med administration, excellent meal preparation with dietary restrictions or considerations, & creative activities or just quiet time reading or in conversation. Laughing is good too!
