Having retired 11 years ago, I came on Care. to find a part time job of taking care of babies for extra income For app. 7 years I worked for a family who found me on this site. It has been a great experience. I started with a 12-week-old baby boy and then another boy was added 2 years later. I have him 5 1/2 and his 3-year-old brother. I left when the boys started school. Update September of 2021 I started with a new family with a 3 weeks old baby boy. In March of 2023 another boy was added to the family, Unfortunately for me both boys will be attending preschool in September. Update I am now working with a family who has a beautiful baby girl who is 11 months old. I started when she was app 3 months old, but is now going into daycare . I am CPR certified and have extra training in newborn care My rate is $20. /22. 00 per hour for 16-to 21 hours per week. I will be available in September.
