Empowering students to reach their full potential is my passion. With a graduate degree in Literacy Education and five years of experience as a certified teacher, I create engaging and supportive learning environments. I adapt my methods to each student's unique style through active listening, open communication, and regular check-ins. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes, breaking down complex problems, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, building trust, and reinforcing learning at home. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am available at various locations. Although I specialize in reading I can help all subjects for elementary students. I'd love to help your student achieve their goals!
