About Thandiwe

I am a childcare provider with over 10 years of experience, caring for children aged 1-11. My passion for fostering children's growth and development, coupled with positive experiences in previous babysitting roles, led me to pursue a career in childcare. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, during which I completed coursework in early child development and mental health. In the last year, I worked as a nanny five days a week, where I cared for a 2-year-old boy and cooked lunch for the family. During that time, I also worked as a teacher's aide at a preschool with kids aged 2-6 years. I am friendly, patient, and energetic! I believe communication with parents about their children is extremely important, whether that be verbally or updates via text or phone call. When it comes to household rules, I believe in following the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the children. I enjoy playing outdoors, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning.
