Besides being a pet owner for almost all of my adult life, I had a pet rescue operation that I ran in conjunction with the local humane society for approximately 10 years. I took complete responsibility for between 20 dogs and cats at a time and 100ish during kitten season. These were primarily animals saved from euthanasia. I gained experience dealing with behavior and health issues. I adopted most out but had about 20 "leftovers" that mostly lived a long life with me. Although I love small dogs, most of mine were larger breeds including labs and pits. I haven't had a pet since before I moved to Florida 5 years ago and am really starting to miss them. My condo isn't a great long term option so I'm hoping to fill that void by giving all that love and attention to your pets. The life I lead can be pretty open to what your situation needs. Short visits, overnight care, vet transport, and possibly overnights in my home. Note: realtor for 10 yrs & understand appropriate behavior in homes
