About Thomas

I'd describe my personality as fun, intelligent, and creative. I am currently a college student enrolled at the University of South Florida, studying Chemical Engineering. I like tutoring because I enjoy people to excel and find joy in learning as I do. Not everybody has had a chance to find a reason to love learning, so I want to provide that. I'm looking for a job that I can be myself in and help others. I honestly can't remember a time when I haven't been helping people learn. Though I've never been payed, I've tutored my peers through every step of my education, whether it be second grade or Calculus. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, and play basketball. One thing you should know about me is I understand kids. With a big family and 4 siblings, I get how to teach young children and deal with confusion and frustration in learning. My skills include breaking down complex topics, helping create visualizations, and patience.
