My love for Elders began with a close relationship with my grandparents and when I was in nursing school I then cared for the grandmother of a close friend who had dementia. Later in life in I had the honor of caring for my mom who was diagnosed with dementia in her 60's. I've since been able to assist others along their journey. I have worked in a memory care facility doing resident care coordination and also worked for a home care agency doing behind the scenes management. I have a deep respect for my elders and believe that we, as a younger generation, have so much to learn from their life experiences and knowledge.
