About Tina

I'd describe my personality as responsible, creative, kind. I like working with kids because children are incredibly capable, curious and full of life! I enjoy watching them learn and grow. I have a passion for focusing on using language with children that honors a high image of the child. I'm looking for a job that is part time, somewhat flexible working for a family or a small school that values quality early childhood experiences as the foundation for a person's emotional and developmental integrity. I started working with kids when I was in college, over 30 years ago! In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, create art, hike and play Mahjong! One thing you should know about me is that I am deeply caring and respectful of the dignity of each child and their individual needs. My skills include responsible and timely safe caregiving, ability to relate to others in a genuine and meaningful way, a true sense of fun and adventure!
