I discovered my love for working with the elderly in 1992. My first job was working at a state hospital on the geriatrics ward. The patients ranged from schizophrenia, Alzheimer/dementia, bipolar and other disorders. It was very challenging but rewarding. I would like to continue to provide this type of care as well as offering companionship to those who just need someone to talk to, read to, play games with, and just need assistants with ALD's. I am kind and compassionate. I understand the needs and frustrations of both the caretaker and the family's seeking care for their loved ones. I have flexible hours. I have a car w/ insurance. I'm available for Dr appts, errands, cleaning, meal prep, and assistance with personal care. CPR certified.
