About Tracie

We've been so happy to work with Tracie this past year! Tracie has many years of childcare experience, and it's clear that she's passionate about her career as a nanny. Both of us parents work from home and it's been a relief to have someone as kind, experienced, and responsible as Tracie here to care for our toddler. She has always been gentle and attentive to our little girl, as much her friend as her caregiver. It's always fun to hear the two of them talking, laughing, playing, and singing! Tracie has often taken her to the library, the playground, and on walks around the neighborhood. She's also been proactive in suggesting and using toddler-appropriate teaching elements, such as flashcards, books, and puzzles. They've loved picking up new books at the library and reading them together. Additionally, she's been very caring to both of us parents. She proactively tackles chores such as tidying, dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and more. She's a great cook, as well. During our toddler's nap-times, Tracie has made us meals to eat for dinner and/or to freeze for later! She's even run errands for us, such as picking up grocery items. Tracie is always on time when her workday begins, yet she's never rushing out the door when her workday is over. We often end up having cheerful parting conversations! Tracie has always followed our lead on how we want to raise our daughter, while also offering thoughtful, helpful, and reassuring advice on how to approach certain developmental stages for toddlers. She has a wealth of knowledge from years of nannying, and years of parenting. She's been a joyful presence in our home and lives over the past year, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver who goes the extra mile.
