I'm a mom of 3 adult children and have 1 grandchild and 1 on the way. Kids are my passion and I love to work with newborns. At this point in my career I'm looking to only work as a Newborn Care Specialist, Sleep consultant and /or Labor or Postpartum Doula. I've taken positive discipline classes and I'm a certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula, certified Labor Doula and a certified Newborn Care Specialist. Trui is an absolute rock star, I don't know what we would have done without her in the early days. She is knowledgeable, passionate, intuitive, warm and genuinely loves what she does and the babies she cares for. Not only is she an excellent caregiver, but also she is a great resource to parents on how to handle whatever your newborn can throw at you. She has seen it all, and it's so reassuring to have her expertise and knowledge on hand. Plus, she has a kind and sweet personality, she makes it easy to become fast friends. She is always continuing her education and certifications in early childhood development. Trui is a real life Mary Poppins, you will never want her to leave!

Trui was my life line and key to sanity during the '4th trimester'. Her warmth and kindness is only second to her professionalism and epic knowledge of babies and mothers.  From her newborn specialist formal education, her job experience and her motherly intuition there is no one more qualified. Trui was able to detect when my baby was ready for sleep training through her 'sleep conditioning him prior. I hear a lot of horrible experiences for mothers choosing to sleep train- Because of Trui I did not have this experience. While he cried or fussed I watched Trui empathize and gauge exactly when the fussing was too much and what he needed. It was not a cold 'cry it out' experience- my baby had a guardian angel (Trui) watching over his every move while I literally got the best sleep.  It pulls on her heart strings while she's remaining committed to the process. My baby is now 6 months and sleeps 12 hours straight & is so happy every morning. She gave us all the gift of sleeping.

My wife and I met Trui 1 month prior to our 1st son's birth - looking for a seasoned professional to guide is through the process of caring for a 1st child.

I cannot emphasize enough - TRUI IS MARY POPPINS! Her expertise is akin to doctor-level, and her passion for kids is unparalleled. She really became part of our family.

Day 1: She comes over wearing a mask, never took it off. Immediately starts asking questions about what type of feeds he's getting, if he's using formula, any dietary restrictions or items to be cautious for - Like a doctor taking charge. She'd consistently make sound recommendations.

Extreme commitment in a crisis: I tested positive with COVID while my wife was away. Trui stepped up and cared for our son for 3 straight days non-stop, with nothing but grace. She was engaging him with love, all while providing detailed updates.

If you're looking for child care, Trui is the best. We've interviewed many people and she's 2nd to none. You'd be a fool not to hire her.

We were so lucky to have Trui on our side for our 4th child. She was very gentle with our baby girl. Always checking on us during the day. Sharing all her experience! She is a gem and can not recommend her enough! We don't have family in the US and Trui was a great support for us!

Trui was invaluable to us in the first couple of months with our newborn. As first time parents we were navigating a whole new world and she was a wonderful guide for us. Having her watch him a few nights a week gave us some truly needed rest and peace of mind, but beyond that she was a great resource and a lovely person. She coached us along our sleep journey with our baby and gave us amazing advice for his nighttime & daytime routines. Trui paid great attention to our baby's habits and quirks, which contributed to her thorough note taking and tracking of his progress. All her observations along with her years of experience gave her the best insight into how our baby could continue to take the next step towards sleeping longer through the night and by 3 1/2 months he was sleeping calmly for almost 10 hours or more through the night. Alongside all of her help she is a delightful person to get to know and we felt so confident knowing she was watching over our son.

She's THE BEST. Even overseas she managed to coach me and my newborn amazingly! She guided us trough text and calls. Gave great advice and answered all my questions. She also asked questions back that really mattered so she could understand our situation and make sure her advice was on point. I really am so thankful for her help!

Trui was an essential resource to myself and my husband with our newborn daughter. She guided and instructed us as first time parents on how to set ourselves up for success with setting daily schedules, feedings, sleep conditioning and later sleep training. To say she is gifted with newborns would be an understatement. She also was essential to me as a new mother. As a mother herself who has a ton of experience with newborns she showed a level of compassion and empathy to understand my concerns, fears and all the new mama emotions and hormones. This understanding of what I am going through as a new mom allowed her to meet me where I am in the journey of motherhood in a way that was completely absent of any judgement making all her guidance so easy to put into practice. And for me the results speak for themselves, our daughter because she had the gift of consistency and great sleep conditioning was sleeping through the night by 4 months.

We were not lucky enough to have Trui on a full-time basis, as she was already committed at the time we needed a full-time nanny.  We were lucky enough, however, to have her when she was free to watch our son on the weekends and for some overnight trips.  To say that Trui is the gold standard in professional child care is an understatement.  She is professional, loving, nurturing and just a wonderful human being.  Our son, K, loves her so much and we felt so at ease knowing he was in her care.  She is amazing with children and really understands what they need in the moment.  She is playful, and models good boundaries for them.  If you happen to interview her and are considering her for employment, I would say you have just met THE ONE!

Trui is amazing!   Any family would be lucky to have her help them.  She makes you feel so comfortable and gets along with anyone.   If any of my friends or family came over she was so easy to talk to and everyone loved her.  She is so knowledgeable about babies and kids and they all love her.  She is a great listener and always has good advice.   She is originally from Belgium and has three grown kids of her own. You really would be lucky to have her, my entire family loves her.

Trui is amazing with children and an amazingly positive person - such an inspiration! I look back on that time in my life with a smile. She loved my daughter like it was her own.

Trui literally saved my life. When my daughter was a few months old I had two kids under two years old. I was a stay at home mom, sleep deprived, and dealing with self diagnosed postpartum depression. Thankfully my Husband realized I needed a little help and hired Trui to help a few hours a week. Not only did having Trui around allow me to shower in peace and get some much needed grocery shopping done, but it meant the world to me to have a wonderful companion to confide in, give me advice, and tell me I'm doing things right. I would one hundred percent recommend Trui for anything Mommy, baby, or pregnancy related. We all love Trui!

We highly recommend Trui as a nanny. She was employed as our full-time nanny for over 4 years. Trui was always on time & ready to engage with the kids. She is passionate about children, kind, fun, & took care of our children as if they were her own. Additionally, she performed some light housework including: laundry, loading/unloading dishes & keeping the kids toys tidy.  My kids absolutely adore her & are always asking when she can come to visit.

My children looked forward to be with Trui everyday. Trui made them feel as if they were her own. She not only cared for them, but made sure they felt safe and loved. She made their time with her fun, instructional, and active. She was a gift in my kids' lives. They grew up and had to move on to older kids' things.  I would hire her in a snap again and again!

Trui is an absolute GEM! 
I hired her after I gave birth for the postpartum period and also for some infant care and I could not recommend her more, she's always punctual, professional and caring- which is what all mammas need during those precious but difficult times! 
I know how hard and scary it can feel to find someone to help with your own children and I felt 1000000% confident with Trui around, her energy and confidence just gave me the tools I needed for a successful and stress free recovery!!
