About Tshegofatso

I'm currently a live-in nanny with four years of childcare experience, having worked with three amazing families in the US, as well as, hospice childcare in South Africa. I've cared for kids of all ages, but I have the most hands-on experience with little ones between 15 months and 5 years old, which I absolutely love. I'm naturally energetic, playful, and very hands-on. I enjoy getting on the floor, running around outside, doing crafts, and coming up with fun, creative ways to keep kids engaged. I don't just "watch" children-I interact with them and try to make their day fun and meaningful. I also care a lot about helping kids grow into their own little people. I encourage independence in a way that's supportive and present-giving them space to try things, while still being right there to guide and encourage them. I'm reliable, warm, and easy to be around, and I genuinely love what I do. I aim to create a space where kids feel happy, safe, and excited about their day.
