About Valerie

Hi, my name is Ms. Val. I am a primary teacher with experience in preschool and kindergarten Montessori classrooms. I utilize research based teaching methods, tailored to each individual, in order to set your student up to be an independent learner for life in all content areas. Do you have more than one child in need of a tutor? Ask me about synchronous tutoring options. I look forward to working with you and your student. I am excited for you to witness the joy in your child that comes along with being an independent learner. Outside of the classroom I am an avid gardener and outdoors women. In addition to academic tutoring I offer an abundance of outdoor educational experiences. From sustainability to survival skills, these inclusive learning experiences can also be tailored to meet the need and interests of your student(s).
