I am currently a student at Clark University and I am planning on becoming a teacher. This past year I was a paid teacher's assistant in a 5th grade classroom in Worcester 15 hours a week and I loved it. I mostly worked with the children who were ESL or who just needed a little more help or encouragement than the one teacher could always give. I am very good at dealing with different types, styles, and abilities when it comes to learning. I am happy to help with elementary school work but also high school work too (SAT/AP prep, math, etc). I graduated from high school last year so a lot of that is still fresh in my mind!
