Hi there, my name is Valerie and I'm known as a balance of patient, calm, fun, and caring. I started babysitting at the age of 15 but fell into childcare and tutoring about 7 years ago. After finishing my first year of college, I began to focus on my main classes which included a variety of sociology, psychology, administrative justice, and childhood development courses. Throughout college I nannied, tutored, mentored, and developed great relationships in my time as a caretaker. My favorite age group are K to 3 but I have experience with ages from 2 to15. I am currently taking part time prerequisite courses at my community college to obtain my master's degree as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My long term goal is to attend a program Fall of 2025. Starting February 2024 I will be looking for a part-time position, with a minimum of 6 months commitment. My rates start at 28 an hour for one child but can be discussed.
