About Val

We hired Val to care for our four-year-old son while his grandmother was recovering from surgery, and she exceeded every expectation we had. Prior to Val, our son had only ever been cared for by family, so we were understandably nervous about this transition. From the very beginning, Val demonstrated exceptional professionalism, transparency, and warmth. We interviewed her in person and requested copies of her credentials for primary-source verification, and she responded without hesitation, offering full support and reassurance. It was immediately clear that she is an individual of the highest caliber. Val is not only well-educated, but she also possesses outstanding emotional intelligence, empathy, and impeccable manners. Most importantly, we have always felt completely safe and confident with her caring for our son. She has provided daily care and consistently demonstrated patience, kindness, responsibility, and attentiveness. Val is fully engaged with our child—she plays with him, nurtures his curiosity, and thoughtfully incorporates interactive activities that support learning and the development of critical thinking skills. We truly feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have found Val. If circumstances allowed, we would keep her with our family permanently. Although our son’s grandmother has now fully recovered and will be resuming his care, we fully intend to stay connected with Val and have her support our family whenever possible.
