I am retired after working in the medical profession as a transcriptionist and later an Emergency Room coder for Sentara for 21 years. I have always loved and appreciated older people and their wisdom. I have experience in caregiving having taken care of my mother-in-law's daily needs until her passing. It was a blessing to be able to keep her at home. I am dependable, respectful, and desire to make life at home safer, easer, and more comfortable for your loved one while promoting their independence and dignity. I will provide help with household tasks, meal preparation, personal care, and companionship. Whatever task that needs to be done will be undertaken in a positive and happy manner, as I believe every act of care makes a difference and smiles and laughter are needed by everyone.
