After 20 years of caregiving experience, I have had a wide variety of clients having Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, Advanced Alzheimer's, dementia, thyroid cancer, ischemic colitus and several other conditions. Each client was specifically cared for giving each special treatment based on their individual needs. Communication with my clients or their family members is an essential part of my position, as I consider knowing their needs an integral part of my caregiver relationship. Duties included everything from companion care to colostomy bag care, as well as meal prep, meds, appointments. Periodically, my schedule would require 24/7, weekends or extended stays. A positive and warm personality is part of who I am, as well as being pleasant and happy. All my clients would agree that I always see the brighter side of life. References supplied on request.
