About Victoria

I have had extensive and wonderful times caring and tending to seniors. My grandmother was a huge influence on me, she instilled in me a love for music and bonding with family. She would play classical music on the piano, and as a child, I would stand and hold up her musical sheets as she played. It was incredibly bonding and I grew to love to play the piano and understand that people genuinely need love and care, no matter what age, no matter how sick. As she grew older and was diagnosed with Alzheimers' disease, I consistently visited her every week with my dad. Though heart wrenching to have her not recognize us, it was important that I saw that she was well taken care of and that she somehow understood that I loved her. I spent countless hours telling her stories, playing card games, and making sure she was happy. She meant so much to me and has left me with a passion to help and take care of others that need a loving and compassionate heart. In my school years, I consistently volunteered to Veterans Hospitals and enjoyed hearing and helping the seniors that I had the wonderful opportunity to meet. I believe this coupled with child care has made me a great care-taker and helper
