I have always had a love for the elderly which led me to obtain my cna and work in the skilled unit of a nursing home for 2 years later transitioning into home health. Over the years I worked from home and homeschooled my two girls. I have had the pleasure of caring for my grandmother until she passed, my elderly mother in law after a suffering a broken hip and broken back, and my father in January of 2017 for the last month of his life. I am currently working for a 93-year-old with dementia and have been for the past 7 years. It's part time and I am hoping to obtain more hours during the work week. I have been told I have a great sense of humor which has carried me through some tough times in my life. I love animals, gardening, tennis and a variety of other outdoor activities.
