I have taken care of children since I was 11 years old. I have raised three boys who are now adults. I have always loved children and enjoy engaging in all kinds of activities with them from imaginative play, reading books, cooking, and exploring the beautiful outdoors. I take this job very seriously and realize that you are entrusting me with your most precious treasure, and I do not take this lightly. I work with all ages but have expertise with newborns, babies and toddler age. This is not just a job for me. I love children and enjoy taking care of them. I also speak Spanish fluently which I would speak to your child/children if you so choose. I have great references from several families, one in particular whose child I cared for 2 and a half years. I would love to take on jobs for 2-4 hours helping new moms with childcare relief, light housework, or meal preparation. These can be one-time, temporary jobs.

As a caregiver for little ones, Wendy was very well connected and eager to adapt to the kids temperament, aid in milestone development, and explore their interests with play. She took her time with tending to their needs, and was very patient with corrective behavior when necessary. Wendy is emotionally intelligent and allows for emotions to be heard and tended to. She was flexible with hours in the morning and afternoons for us and enjoyed helping out with our dogs when necessary. When I was in labor with my second baby, she was willing to be available for our toddler son and was eager to help wherever/whenever she was able to.
