About Wendy

I'd describe my personality as easy going, hard working and fun. I like working with kids because I love watching them become their own people through day to day experiences. I'm looking for a job that lets me help a family find peace of mind using the experiences I've had over many years being around kids. I started working with kids at 14 as a "date night" sitter. During college I enjoyed nanny jobs. I earned a teaching credential and tutored privately. The last 22 years I've been a full time mom for four great kids! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family ... usually cooking together. I enjoy walks with my dogs, love to tend my hens, and hang out with my horse! One thing you should know about me is I am good at "noticing" how kids are feeling or what would be most helpful in any given situation. I am also calm under pressure. The things about me that help me to get along with children are that I am organized, consistent and likeable
