About Wendy

I bring a compassionate and patient approach to my work. I am a 30 year expert in home management including raising three children. I spent six years working with a student with developmental disabilities. The past three years I have brought me joy working in a retirement community. Now that my children are grown, I have free time on the weekends and would like to work regularly with a family or two to support their loved one aging in place. I am trained in First Aid and offer services such as respite care, shopping support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, reading services (books, newspaper, mail). I adapt to changing routines and can incorporate memory care activities. I prioritize understanding your loved one's preferences and personal history to build a strong connection. Communication is key, and I always follow the family's preferred method. I would love to bring my friendly and empathetic nature to your family's care needs.
