About Yasmin

My journey as a tutor started at a very young age, I had a passion for helping my peers since elementary school. My first paid tutoring experience was when I was in 7th grade, helping various younger cousins and siblings with assignments they had difficulty with. I continued tutoring until I was in 10th grade. After highschool graduation, I began working with children from ages 5 to 10. My job consisted of helping managing a classroom to helping students excel in academics and daily activities. Overall creating a safe space for my students to flourish in. I am currently a studying to become a social worker, specifically on the child welfare track and will also do my fieldwork in an elementary school. I am very excited about my journey of working with children! I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic and honest. I like tutoring because I not only enjoy helping others but knowing I am creating a positive impact on someone brings me joy!
