About Yeruksew

During my second semester as a freshman at Worcester State University, I joined a program in the Worcester area, where I became a mentor for African American refugees and immigrant students who's educational background spanned from middle school to high school. During these two hour sessions, I helped students with their homework and test preparation. Being an elementary education major, this opportunity allowed for me to gain experience with working with students who's needs varied in many aspects. I am confident in knowing that I can work with all students, in order for them to feel confident and succeed!
