Hi! I'm a 20-year-old rising junior at the University of Florida studying Psychology with a focus on Behavior Analysis. I'm the oldest of four siblings (ages 17, 15, and 6), so caring for little ones has always been a part of my life. I began babysitting at 13 for family and family friends, and at 18, I regularly cared for three children (ages 10, 8, and 4) three times a week for six months. In summer 2024, I also ran a summer camp for middle schoolers, and since June 2023, I've been working at Flip Factory Zone, a trampoline park for kids. I genuinely love working with children and have lots of experience supervising, engaging, and keeping things fun and safe. Yira babysat for me consistently for about 4 months. I only stopped having her as my recurrent sitter because she moved farther away from us. She babysat my 3 year old daughter. Besides generally caring for my daughter she was responsible for daily learning and interactive play activities sent home by my daughter’s daycare teachers. Yira would help set up, explain and carry out this activities with my toddler. She was also in charge of breakfast and snacks while I worked remotely. She is a great sitter, very responsible and communicative and my daughter really liked having her around.
