About Youmna

Hi! I am a physician (MD) currently completing training in medical residency for subspecialization in pain medicine. I have held formal academic tutoring positions throughout college and medical school with an emphasis on writing, reading, science, and math up to the collegiate level. I absolutely love working with kids of all ages and, as the oldest of 4, have gotten creative in exciting kids about learning. Before medical school, I completed a Certificate in Writing education, dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Philosophy, and worked in my university's writing center. Studied aside, I looooove dogs and enjoy reading, writing, hiking, biking, drawing, piano, and weight lifting. I am fluent in English & Arabic, BLS/ACLS certified. I can only work late afternoon/evenings. I recognize the value of in person learning, but can also offer online for flexibility purposes.
