Years of Experience: 14 Location Options: In Studio, In Home Travel Radius: 20 Genres: Classical Age Groups: Children, Young Adult Instruments Taught: Orchestral Lessons Overview: I am a recent college graduate from the University of Miami and have been playing the flute for 14 years. I love playing the flute and have a passion for teaching others. My teaching technique involves kindness, patience, technique, and lots of practice. I have each of my students purchase a notebook to write their weekly assignments in. I love playing classical music including Bach, "Phantom of the Opera", and duets. Formal Education: I have been playing the flute for 14 years since the 4th grade to the present. I have played in my school bands all my life through high school where I was first chair floutist. I have played in my school's quartet and orchestra. In addition and I have played in numerous solo and ensemble competitions and district band. In college I participated in the flute choir. Private Education: I took private flute lessons for nine years. Performing Experience: I have played in my school bands from 4th grade thru college. I have played in a quartet, orchestra, district band, solo and ensemble, flute choir, and high school band. Experience Teaching: I have taught for two years.
