I started playing piano and guitar at a young age by ear. I played saxophone in high school band. I have performed for many years in various styles of bands, as a soloist, duo, trio, in large venues, private events, small coffee-house types, and church. I teach what the student wants to learn as well as what I believe every musician should understand and be able to apply. I have a passion for music and highly encourage each student to develop their passion. I believe lessons should be fun, entertaining, hard work, with a little finger pain for beginning guitarists. If you consistently practice and apply what we talk about in the lessons-you will be teaching beginners in a year or so-if you desire.
